Dear Sam, Get your buyers attention now!
This new government incentive is huge IF we promote it! It worked
when this was done in the early 1970s with a $2000 tax credit and will
work now if we get the word out.
If you don't start promoting this now, other realtors will and you are going to miss good buyers.
So, call your advertising guru and put together a simple promotion
to get your phones to ring! Put this in all of your print ads and
flyers!
When they do, ask them to call me and I'll explain it to them and
help them get excited about buying a house right now with YOU!!
Think $7500 1st-time buyer tax credit! Thanks for your business.

A Good Business Plan is the Key!
We are our own
worse enemy. Questions: Are we working towards our goals with a
strategy that will ensure our success? NO! Do we have a plan to help
us? I seriously doubt it!
If anybody ought
to know this, it should be me because I used to sell business plan
consulting services. I know how important this can be and I am working
on mine right now.
Key elements for
a good plan for you is to set your goals and metrics to measure
yourself, define your target markets, devise some work ethics for your
business, throw in a mission statement and a good sales philosophy and
you have something that can help you manage your business.
Then if it
doesn't work like you planned it, change it! It should be a working
document that gets reviewed and tweaked and is constantly improving.
But you have to start by sitting down and writing one.
Okay, I know that
nobody is going to write one so I wrote one for you! Click below for
the ultimate business plan that will make you a top producer. Just
copy it over to your PC and modify it to suit your business. It is loaded with 28 target marketing ideas from my 200+ "Hit the Ground Running" ideas that you can use or just plug in your own.
Go ahead, take
your business to the next level with a good business plan and include
me in your plan and I'll help you get there too!

![]() "The Guitar Man"
"When You're Hot, You're Hot!"
(1937-2008)
"Jerry Reed Hubbard was one of a kind," said friend and remarkable
guitarist Steve Wariner. "There will never be another like him, that's
for sure! Before he ever did his first acting role in a movie, he was
already a triple threat. He was a brilliant songwriter, consummate
singer/entertainer, and of course, a world-class guitarist. Chet Atkins
used to say (and I agree), 'I don't think he even realizes how great he
is.' Young players will be studying and cussing him for many years to
come. Jerry loved to make people laugh and did it at every turn. What a
sense of humor! The last little while when I'd visit, I knew he was
sick, but he would still be cracking everyone up right till the end.
The world has lost a tremendous talent; I've lost a great pal, but
Heaven has gained one mighty guitar playing angel, that's for sure! My
heartfelt condolences to Prissy, the girls, and the entire family."
In
honor of the great Jerry Reed's passing last week, I wanted to pay
tribute to an American Icon that lived life the way we all should live
it; by having fun and not taking things so seriously. He loved to
laugh and to make us laugh and he will be missed. We all need to be like Jerry used to
be and laugh and have fun while we are still here! Life is too short
to waste time being miserable, negative or just unhappy so loosen up
and see if your business doesn't pick up too. People like being
around people that are fun and then you will like yourself better too.

Weekly Rate Lock Advisory - Sunday Sept 7th.
![]() This week brings us the release of four pieces of economic data, with three of them likely to affect mortgage rates. There is no relevant data scheduled for release until Thursday and the most important reports are all scheduled for release Friday. Therefore, look for the biggest changes to rates the latter part of the week. The first report of the week is not considered to be of high importance. July's Goods and Services Trade Balance data will be posted Thursday morning, giving us the size of the U.S. trade deficit. It is expected to show a deficit of approximately $58.0 billion, which would be an increase from June's $56.8 billion. However, I would consider this the least important of this week's releases, meaning it will likely have little impact on bond trading or mortgage rates. ... This weekend's news about the Fed taking control of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will likely drive their stock prices lower and could affect the broader markets. That may start the week off with lower mortgage rates.... |
